Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all Guest concerns, comments, and suggestions are addressed within guidelines established by Six Flags Corporate Guest Relations
  • Partnering across all departments to ensure delivery of a seamless Guest experience
  • Ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures and safety standards as they relate to Six Flags policy and/or Federal or State guidelines
  • Ensuring the completion of Team Member evaluations and associated merit and promotional opportunities associated with performance review of seasonal staff
  • Working with the Operations Manager to develop and track annual operating budgets and business plans
  • Coordinating all off-season activities to include training, recruiting, and winterization functions
  • Overseeing the training and development of all Team Members within area of responsibility
  • Supervising operational functions related to the safe and efficient operation of Admission and Guest Relations Departments
  • Supervising seasonal Team Members, including hiring, discipline, rewards/recognition and termination decisions
  • Working closely with Marketing to create awareness and drive sales of season passes and memberships

Job Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience in theme park operations (3+ years preferred); ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • Sense of fun
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office and willingness and ability to learn new programs
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
  • Friendly, energetic, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
