Job Description:
Provides overall support to the Risk Management group with the day-to-day claims handling systems, database administration (internal to Risk Management and cross-functionally), including claim assignment triage and analysis, and data preparation, analysis, and compilation.

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and prepare actuarial loss information and prepare an evaluation of claim trends for accountants and actuaries.
- Provide ongoing influential administration and support of selected database needs.
- Administer database user controls to provide reasonable assurance that claims are entered completely and accurately and that only valid claims are processed (SSAE- RisKonnect Audit Control).
- Oversees the database (RisKonnect) vendor relationship, assess service hour project needs, and ensure successful completion of enhancements
- Administer security privileges and access roles are appropriate and applicable to job requirements (SSAE – RisKonnect SOX Audit Control)
- Responsible for data integrity of the system across all Risk Management functions.
- Partner with key business stakeholders and departments to create and influence robust database system usage cross-functionally
- Assess and evaluate incoming incidents for critical triggers and assign to claims coordinators or analysts.
- Create ad hoc reporting to analyze current trends and needs of Risk Management and the business
- Develop best practices creating and handling Risk Management reporting including dashboard, trends, key metrics and key performance indicators.
- Review and support certificate of insurance program in compliance with contractual risk transfer provision in agreements.
Job Requirements:
- Project management skills a plus
- Experience using RisKonnect or similar RMIS system
- Must be able to multi-task, be well organized and detail oriented
- Proficient working with database and processing software, Excel, Word and similar systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2-4 Years Data Analytics experience and Database administration experience or proven aptitude in a corporate environment
- Retail Experience
- Claims handling experience
- Highly analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and negotiating skills
