Job Responsibilities:

  • Represents management, as directed, in meetings or appropriate functions
  • May act as a direct customer interface on assigned projects
  • Develops project plans and schedules, identifies resources, monitors progress, initiates corrective action as required
  • May perform other duties as required
  • Supply Chain Management Information Technology and ERP Project Management Specialist – Directly manages projects and special assignments involving IT systems, ERP systems, complex technical or operational improvement functions
  • Develops, coordinates, and directs the implementation of IT and ERP system initiatives, improvement projects, enhancements, and reporting that cross divisions and/or functions, primarily focused on Supply Chain and Procurement execution activities
  • Utilizes best practices and innovative processes to define, coordinate, and implement systems and procedural changes
  • Negotiates agreements and/or obtains approvals for divisional improvement programs
  • Coordinates the technical and operational efforts of Procurement and Supply Chain systems project management, including evaluation of objectives and programs to determine compatibility with functional directives
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements, efficiency, and effectiveness within the division
  • Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of functional programs in relation to established goals
  • Interacts with divisional management to formulate and implement strategies necessary to meet divisional objectives
  • Directs and facilitates projects and technical and/or operational improvement efforts that cross divisions and functions, including the application of sound management techniques to reduce costs and improve operations
  • Functions as divisional project lead, with responsibility for coordinating the work of specific individuals and providing direction to them in connection with large cross-functional projects

Job Requirements:

  • Prior supervisory and project management experience preferred
  • Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills are required
  • Ability to investigate anomalies within both the Business and Technical systems to determine causes and identify solutions
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite, Tableau, Jira, database and dashboard creation, and data warehousing
  • US Citizenship required in order to obtain and maintain US Department of Energy Q-level security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Ten years of experience in a Supply Chain Management role, specifically in ERP, MRP, and Procurement systems management
  • Ability to interface between Business Functions and I.T. to evaluate technical feasibility and explain requirements/process in ways that allow programming to be accomplished
  • Must have effective, proven ability in decision making, problem solving, and influencing others
  • Functional expert in managing and implementing Supply Chain Management system solutions with substantial subject matter experience
