Job Description:

As a Regional Sales Manager you are responsible for leading your Region by maximising sales and profit through your Area Management Team. Delivering excellence through the best People, Operational excellence and meaningful relationships. This role is pivotal in leading and developing talent and capabilities of your Area Sales and Education Manager team to achieve optimal performance. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for designing and implementing a Regional Strategy that inspires teams and enables the teams to deliver the ultimate M∙A∙C experience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a disruptive customer focussed eventing strategy across the Region which enhances our presence locally driving traffic and conversion.
  • Overall management responsibility and accountability of Regional P&L. Especially in respect to managing payroll costs in line with budget.
  • Continually review sales to identify areas of concern and opportunity in order to managing performance consistently, identify opportunities and implement plans to optimise performance.
  • Ensure Area Sales and Education Managers optimise efficient planning to enable frequent, effective and productive store visits.
  • Drive a culture where teams are developed, reviewed and appraised based on Performance Goals and KPIs.
  • Lead teams to plan and co-ordinate store and area resource levels to optimise service, sales and profitability.
  • Communicate and engage the team in business objectives in order to deliver the overall Regional Strategy.
  • Lead teams to deliver effective use of social media, leveraging opportunities to drive engagement and reach.
  • Deliver strong Retailer and Head Office relationships ensuring these are optimised for Regional success.
  • Ensure teams maintain excellent visual merchandising and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Lead, coach and develop Area Sales and Education Managers to proactively manage performance, absence and conduct through their Retail Managers, utilising the appropriate procedures and support.
  • Execute a Regional Strategy that drives performance and ensure business plans are in place for each store to achieve Key Performance Indicators, maximising Regional performance.
  • Actively build an Inclusive culture and retaining our diverse talent, in all business centres across the region. Ensuring an inclusive culture every working day for employees and customers.
  • Analyse business trends using financial reporting in order to develop strategies for profit improvements.
  • Drive teams to manage stock effectively and work to relentlessly work to reduce business shrinkage.
  • Lead Area Sales and Education Managers to deliver and manage effective targets to teams in order to drive performance.
  • Create a culture that is built on inclusivity, respect, and empowerment. Foster an inclusive, consumer focused and learning culture that drives speed, agility, and decisiveness reducing turnover and vacancies through attracting, retaining and developing talent, create strong reward and recognition and focus on developing skills at all levels.
  • Ensure that all stores adhere to compliance requirements in all areas of operational activity, H&S and company policies and procedures
  • Ensure, through Area Teams that high quality teams are recruited, inducted, retained and developed to enhance the values of the brand and contribute to the success of the business.
