Job Description:

The Director of Hospitality will play a key role in the store, guest experience, and day to day Front of House operations. The ultimate goal for this role is to lead a team and ensure that all aspects of the Front of House are running smoothly and efficiently while delivering a remarkable guest experience. This opportunity is far greater than “fast food” but is an opportunity for a key individual to daily impact team members and business functions of a Chick-fil-A restaurant. After spending an initial training period, learning the basics of the Chick-fil-A operation and procedures, this individual should be fully prepared to take ownership over all processes related to Guest Satisfaction and Experience and the Front of House. This leader will be intentionally developed, and long-term will have the opportunity to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity or pursue becoming an Owner/Operator within the next 3-5 years!


Job Responsibilities:

  • Hold team members accountable to all policies and procedures; ensure fair disciplinary action
  • Address and respond within 24 hours to Guest Cares comments while identifying themes and discussing areas of improvement with other leaders
  • Ensure that all Front of House equipment is maintained and that all areas meet cleanliness standards
  • Train, coach, and develop A-grade talent
  • Perform off-shift managerial tasks for Front of House such as leadership development, team member evaluations, and money management
  • Partner with other Directors to assure that all events and new initiatives align with the hospitality vision
  • Meet regularly with Leadership Team and the Operator for training/personal development and to execute overall vision and grow overall success of the store
  • Oversee and ensure Guest Satisfaction and Experience through delivering a remarkable experience
  • Work in the operations leading teams of around 25-30 and supervising daily systems and processes in the Front of House
  • Enthusiastically lead and positively impact team and culture through celebrating successes and modeling hospitality with team members and guests
  • Assess operation results and reports weekly with an ongoing evaluation of business operations to improve each area
  • Track and improve store goals with a focus on Customer Experience Monitors
  • Meet weekly with the Hospitality Team to help them to be successful in all performance results and goals of the business

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
  • 1-2+ years of leadership experience
  • Enthusiastic with high energy; passion for leading, coaching and developing others
  • Demonstrates servant leadership mentality; willing to do tasks that others might consider beneath them
  • Ability to set goals and create action plans to achieve those goals
  • Sense of ownership; self motivated with a willingness and eagerness to learn
