HDMS is seeking Senior Health Researcher to join our Customer Experience Team. This position will focus on developing and executing complex scientific research studies utilizing multiple data sources that may include, but not limited to, medical and pharmacy claims data, clinical and lab data, ancillary benefit data, demographics, and public health data, with end-to-end responsibility from study proposal to publication and presentation.


Job Responsibilities:

Collaborates with internal and external partners and organizations in the design and execution of analytic projects and studies to answer clients’ business questions.
Inform clinical product strategy and design in order to continuously drive improvement.
The role will be focused on analyzing various healthcare claims data types to answer questions surrounding clinical and/ or financial impact
Understand and communicate clinical / financial outcomes, VOI, and ROI to HDMS clients and internal stakeholders
Create deliverables that communicate the results of analyses and studies for consumption by different audiences and participate to broader marketing activities (e.g., power point slide-decks, white papers, peer reviewed publications, etc.)
Collaborate with Customer Experience and Clinical leadership to inform key analytical decisions (e.g., cohort eligibility, applied methods, etc.)
Oversees the delivery of full-scale projects, and development of study proposals
partner with clinical advisory resources in expanding and developing new analytic content for clients

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness and initiate new innovative approaches while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Proven familiarity with historical and randomized control trial methodology
  • Must possess a passion for teamwork, client service and reaching business results through problem solving
  • 1+ years of experience working with in-depth statistical methodologies and data science
  • Solid understanding of epidemiology and study design to advise analytic decisions to assess program value
  • Experience using data for strategy discussions
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1+ years of experience in a client/customer facing role
  • Project Management certification
  • Healthcare Data Analytics experience is required
  • Knowledgeable with the SAFe/Agile process
